Vegan Cats? (and Dogs)

There is this on going debate that cats are carnivores or that they can be vegan.

IDK if i would try it on my cat, she is older and set in her ways, but if it is possible more power to the vegans that do give their cat a vegan diet. If I had a kitten one day maybe I would try it but correctly and with vegan cat food.
